Wolframite and scheelite are both types of tungsten ore, both of which can be used to produce ammonium paratungstate (APT), but because of their different crystal structures and impurities, the processes used to produce APT are also different: wolframite APT is mainly prepared by high pressure alkali cooking-ion exchange-evaporative crystallization method, and scheelite concentrate is mainly prepared by soda pressure cooking-solvent extraction-evaporative crystallization method.

1. Different names: wolframite, also known as wolframite, is Wolframite in English; scheelite is Scheelite in English.

2. Different chemical compositions: wolframite is mainly composed of tungsten iron ore (FeWO4) and tungsten manganese ore (MnWO4), of which tungsten iron ore contains 23.65% FeO and 76.35% WO3, and tungsten iron ore contains 23.42% MnO and tungsten manganese ore (MnWO4). 76.58% WO3; the main component of scheelite is calcium tungstate (CaWO4), which ideally contains 19.47% CaO and 80.53% WO3.

3. Different structures: wolframite has two kinds of monoclinic crystal system and orthorhombic column crystal system, the crystal form is plate-like or column-like, and the aggregates are mostly plate-like; Aggregates are mostly irregular granular, less dense block.
