Feature

Tungsten carbide powder (WC) is the main raw material for the production of hard alloy, chemical formula WC. Full name, tungsten carbide powder is black hexagonal crystal, metallic luster, hardness and diamond similar, for electricity, heat good conductor. The melting point is 2870℃, the boiling point is 6000℃, and the relative density is 15.63(18℃). Tungsten carbide is insoluble in water, hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid, and easily soluble in a mixture of nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid. Pure tungsten carbide is fragile, if a small amount of titanium, cobalt and other metals, can reduce brittleness. Tungsten carbide used as a cutting tool for steel is often added to titanium carbide, tantalum carbide, or a mixture of them to improve knock resistance. Tungsten carbide is chemically stable.

It has broad application prospects in mining, oil drilling, engineering machinery and aerospace fields.

The appearance is black powder, high purity ≥99.9%, sphericity ≥95%, melting point is 2870℃, boiling point is 6000℃, density is 15.63g/cm³, loose density is greater than 7.0g/cm3, vibration density is greater than 7.5g /cm3, flow performance is less than 10.0s/50g, It has the characteristics of high hardness, low thermal expansion coefficient, high compressive strength, large elastic modulus and smooth surface. However, due to its high hardness, its machining performance is poor, so it is more suitable for application in 3D printing.
