More specifically, a proper amount of rhenium can be dissolved in tungsten to form a solid solution alloy powder. According to different appearance shapes, Spherical tungsten powder can be divided into spherical tungsten-rhenium alloy powder and irregular tungsten-rhenium alloy powder. In terms of physical and chemical properties, the average particle size of Spherical tungsten powder is between 2.0-4.0um, with high melting point, high recrystallization temperature, high thermoelectric potential, high resistivity, corrosion resistance, good plasticity, excellent high temperature creep resistance, weldability and Features such as machining. In terms of production process, the steps to prepare spherical Spherical tungsten powder include: 1) Ingredients: take a certain amount of ammonium paratungstate and ammonium rhenate; 2) Mixing: prepare ammonium paratungstate and ammonium rhenate into a solution, and dry and crystallize; 3) reduction: In a hydrogen environment, the mixed crystal is reduced to tungsten-rhenium alloy powder; 4) Molding: Put the W-Re alloy powder into the mold and form by cold isostatic pressing; 5) Sintering: The step 4) is sintered in a hydrogen atmosphere. The product is heated, insulated, and sintered to obtain tungsten-rhenium alloy rod blanks; 6) processing: the rod blanks need to undergo processing such as rotary forging, straightening and peeling; 7) spherical tungsten-rhenium alloy powder can be obtained by plasma rotary atomization.

Spherical tungsten powder is used as an electrode or filament in many cases. It can replace pure tungsten, tungsten lanthanum, tungsten cerium, doped tungsten and other tungsten materials as electrodes or filaments; second, it can be used as high-temperature parts, such as spacecraft nozzles and nozzles. , Heat shield of vacuum furnace, etc.
