The preparation methods of nano-molybdenum powder mainly include: microwave plasma method, electric pulse discharge method, etc.
In addition, most of the electric pulse method and electron beam irradiation method, cold air crushing, metal wire electric explosion method, high-intensity ultrasonic method, electric pulse discharge, closed cycle hydrogen reduction method, and electron beam radiation method only have the value of experimental research. The conditions for industrialized preparation are not yet available.

Nano molybdenum powder

The microwave plasma device uses high-frequency electromagnetic oscillating microwaves to break down reactive gases such as N2 to form high-temperature microwave plasma, and then pyrolyzes Mo(CO)6 in the N2 plasma atmosphere to produce nano-scale molybdenum powder with uniform particle size. The device can The generated CO is immediately discharged, and the generated Mo is quickly condensed into the collection device, so nano-molybdenum powder (average particle size below 50 nm) can be prepared with a particle size smaller than that of the hydroxyl pyrolysis method, and the single particle is approximately spherical. It has good stability in the air at normal temperature, so this nano-molybdenum powder can be widely used.
The principle of the plasma reduction method is: use a mixed plasma reaction device to spray a high-voltage direct current arc on a high-frequency plasma air flow, thereby forming a mixed plasma air flow, and use the plasma steam to reduce and initially obtain ultra-fine molybdenum powder.
