Coatings and Welding Materials
Using rhenium's high melting point and excellent anti-corrosion and wear-resistant properties as coatings, such as rhenium-coated metal wires, sheets or tubes, can achieve the purpose of preventing acid, alkali, seawater or sulfur compounds from being etched, so it is used for Maritime and chemical sector; Re-NiRe-Mo or R-W used as coating for instrument components, rocket warheads and their engines.
